Aishwarya Rai Bachchan Finally BREAKS SILENCE On YouTube Channels Reporting Fake News About Daughter Aaradhya’s Health
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter Aaradhya recently made headlines after she moved Delhi High Court against several YouTube channels for reporting fake news about her health. In its order, the Delhi HC court prohibited YouTube channels from posting content or any bogus content related to Aaradhya’s health. The court also restrained uploaders from sharing illegal recordings and anything that violates users' privacy or spreads incorrect and wrong information about Aaradhya. Now, Aishwarya at a recent event has reacted to it.

Addressing the media at the promotional event of her upcoming film Ponniyin Selvan 2, the Taal actress mentioned that it’s nice that a member of the media is recognizing that such things do exist. Aishwarya was quoted as saying, “It's so nice that a member from the media only is recognizing that it does exist. So that gives us great hope that you are obviously not going to perpetuate that, you are not going to encourage that and thank you very much for your wise recognition of the negative impact of false writing or unnecessary writing which is insensitive and unnecessary. So thank you so much for your support for the sentiment that we all share and for your wisdom in recognising that.”

Dayan Krishnan, Ameet Naik, and Pravin Anand, who appeared in Delhi HC for Aaradhya and Abhishek, said that the court order on the case was a landmark judgment on 3 counts - an injunction that upholds the privacy of a child, against disseminating false and fake news about a child which is harmful to a child and against defamation.
